An apartment is a dwelling unit, including a number of parts and only part of a building, usually located in a city. An apartment may be occupied by the owner or a third person called tenant act approved in some countries by concluding a contract of lease which may differ depending on whether the dwelling is furnished or not.
Some occupants are homeowners, either cooperative, in which residents own shares in a company owning the property, or condominium, where every resident owns a unit in the building, coupled with share common parts.
